Rhys Healey’s strike against Bristol Rovers has been named January’s Papa John’s Goal of the Month.
Healey opened the scoring in impressive fashion as Russell Martin’s side cruised to a 3-0 win over The Gas at Stadium MK on New Year’s Day.
Having received the ball from on the edge of the box from David Kasumu, the striker displayed impressive footwork to beat his man before finishing with his left.
Healey won the award with 68.3% of the vote,
He was presented with his award prior to MK Dons’ Sky Bet League One clash with Bolton Wanderers by Peter Patel from Papa John’s.
