Ben’s loving MK Dons stay

5 February 2020

Ben Gladwin has been an MK Dons player for just over a month and says he’s enjoying being part of the squad.

The midfielder was Russell Martin’s second signing as Dons boss when he put pen-to-paper on a permanent deal in January.

The 27-year-old says he always looked at the club as a potential home and added the Dons are a perfect fit for him.

“It’s an amazing place to play football - I’ve said that before,” Gladwin told the media following Saturday’s win over Wycombe Wanderers. “I’ve always looked at this place from the outside and thought that I’d love to play here as it looks a great club, when the opportunity came up with Luke and Russ who are both fantastic – it was the perfect fit for me.

“We’re still in a process and results are the main thing but you can see the process is underway and results are turning.

“We’ve just got to keep going to get ourselves safe and that’s what we are doing at the moment.”
