MK Dons must find a way to be more ruthless in both boxes, says defender Warren O’Hora.
For the second time in succession, the Dons came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw on Tuesday night – and in both games, Russell Martin’s men arguably deserved to walk away with more than just a point.
While content with the results - particularly Tuesday’s, given it came against third-placed Peterborough United - O’Hora wants the Dons to show a more ruthless side to their game as they look to climb the table over Christmas.
“The performance deserved three points but we'll take a point,” O’Hora said in his post-match interview with iFollow MK Dons in midweek.
“The overall performance was really good, we're all happy with it. Peterborough are in the top four but we dominated the game.
“We did so well to get the goal in the second half and we probably should have gone on to win it but sometimes you need the rub of the green and we didn't get that.
“It's a 1-0 or a 2-0 win, if we don't concede that early goal. We have to stop conceding the first goal.”
The Brighton & Hove Albion loanee added: “We’ve dominated most games, and I don't think many teams would like to play us, with the amount of ball possession we have.
“We just have to be more ruthless in both boxes now because we have the middle part down to a T.”
