Black Cats bring in O’Brien and Wright
Ex-Millwall striker Aiden O'Brien has joined League One club Sunderland while the Black Cats have also signed their former defender Baily Wright.

O’Brien, a Republic of Ireland international, has moved to the Stadium of Light after his nine-year spell as a Millwall player ended in June.

Wright, meanwhile, joins from Bristol City, having played five games while on loan with Sunderland last season.

Donny poach Palace winger
Doncaster Rovers have signed Jason Lokilo following his departure from Crystal Palace.

The winger, who played once for Palace, spent time on loan with Donny during the 2019/20 season.

Camps joins the Cod Army
Fleetwood Town have signed former Rochdale midfielder Callum Camps.

The 24-year-old left Spotland in June after making 201 league appearances with Dale, and scoring 25 times including eight during the 2019/20 season.

Crewe make Mandron signing
Crewe Alexandra have signed striker Mikael Mandron following his exit from fellow League One side Gillingham.

Mandron, 25, scored six goals in 28 appearances for Gillingham last season.

U’s top scorer Taylor returns
Matty Taylor has joined Oxford United on a permanent basis, following his release from Bristol City last month.

The striker spent last season on loan at the U's and scored 17 goals in 37 appearances, helping Karl Robinson’s side reach the Sky Bet League One play-offs.

Paul Cook leaves Wigan
Paul Cook has resigned from his position with Wigan Athletic.

The 53-year-old led the Latics to promotion back to the Championship in his first season.

Jackson re-joins Gills
Gillingham have re-signed defender Ryan Jackson for a second spell with the club.

The 30-year-old made 80 appearances during his first stint before joining Colchester United, whom he left in June after featuring in both legs of their League Two play-off semi-final.

Posh grab goalie Gyollai
Peterborough United have signed Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Daniel Gyollai on a free transfer.

The 23-year-old Hungarian has signed a two-year contract with the Posh, after just one season at the DW Stadium.

Shrews lose midfielder to Championship
Shrewsbury Town midfielder Josh Laurent has joined Reading after rejecting the offer of a new deal with the Shrews.

The 25-year-old played 42 games for the Shropshire outfit last season and scored four goals.

Duo sign new Swindon deals
Defender Zeki Fryers and forward Ellis Iandolo have put pen to paper on new contracts with Swindon Town.

Fryers, a former Manchester United youth prospect, scored once in 25 appearances last season as the Robins won promotion to League One while Iandolo was limited to just 17 outings due to injury.

Plymouth re-sign pair
Plymouth Argyle have re-signed Blackpool striker Ryan Hardie on a season-long loan deal while goalkeeper Luke McCormick is back for a third spell with the Pilgrims.

Hardie ended the 2019-20 campaign on loan in Devon, scoring seven times in 13 appearances. McCormick, meanwhile, has spent the past two years at Swindon Town.

Rovers sign non-league striker
Bristol Rovers have signed Jonah Ayunga on a two-year deal from Havant and Waterlooville.

The 23-year-old forward was joint top scorer in National League South last season with 17 goals in 30 games.

Cobblers add midfielder Missilou
Northampton Town have signed midfielder Christopher Missilou.

The 28-year-old joins the Cobblers after spending the past two seasons with Oldham Athletic. He made 34 appearances in all competitions last term.
