MK Dons players and staff underwent their first round of Covid-19 testing on Friday, as they prepare to move into Stage 2 of the EFL's Return to Training.
Under the guidelines set out by the EFL, clubs weren't required to test before commencing Stage 1 - socially-distant, non-contact training.
However, as the Dons and other EFL clubs ramp up their pre-season preparations and move into contact drills, they first need to undergo Covid-19 testing, which includes a throat swab as well as one in each nostril.
To protect confidentiality, the Club will not be publiscing the results of testing but fully expects to commence Stage 2 training next week.
