MK Dons faced off against former Premier League outfit Norwich City on Friday afternoon, with Daniel Farke’s side running out 6-0 winners.

Premier League regulars Onel Hernandez and Emi Buendia were on the scoresheet for The Canaries in the Dons’ latest practice match.

Przemyslaw Placheta, who recently signed for Norwich for €3 million, looked a danger from the off. His low cross into the box was cleared by Houghton.

Nicholls then made his first save of the clash – he denied Danel Sinani after his shot was deflected.

Sinani then went close on the ten-minute mark, his effort struck the bar after he dispossessed Houghton.

Norwich’s persistence soon saw them take the lead as Josh Martin slotted home after being found inside the area by Sinani. 0-1.

Martin’s side looked for an immediate reply via Daniel Harvie, he broke down the left, but saw his shot saved.

Jordan Houghton then produced a crucial sliding tackle to deny Placheta, before Kasumu cleared the danger.

Norwich, however, doubled their advantage with 21-minutes on the clock. Martin was on hand for his second of the afternoon, he slotted home from Placheta’s cross. 0-2.

Placheta was denied by Nicholls as his free-kick took a deflection before the Dons keeper scrambled across his line well.

Harvie looked to bring the Dons back into the game – he had another cross cleared away after the left-back made some space down the wing.

With five-minutes gone in the second-half, Norwich were awarded a penalty after Emi Buendia was fouled inside the area. Youngster Adam Idah stepped up to take – but he fired over the bar.

Cargill was then in the right place at the right time to deny Idah from finding the net, he’s latch ditch tackle prevented the forward converting from close range.

From the following corner, Norwich grabbed their third of the afternoon as Stiepermann tapped home from Buendia’s corner. 0-3.

Poole almost grabbed the Dons first of the afternoon as his shot was blocked from the edge of the box.

Kasumu then volleyed narrowly over from the edge of the box.

Having made nine changes on the hour, Laurie Walker was called into action by Stiepermann, he denied the Norwich City man as he broke into the area.

Louis Thompson, who was facing off against his parent club, denied Aarons getting a cross in before he midfielder cleared the following corner.

Norwich, however, grabbed their fourth of the afternoon. Adam Idah made up for his missed penalty as he slotted past Walker. 0-4.

Shortly after it was Onel Hernandez finding the back of the net as he hammered home on his left foot from just inside the area. 0-5.

The game saw its sixth goal of the afternoon with Buendia grabbing the final goal for Farke’s side. 0-6.
