Harvie pleased to secure future at Stadium MK

Defender excited to get going with MK Dons...

Daniel Harvie experienced an uncertain offseason with his contract expiring at Ayr United during the Coronavirus pandemic, but the Scotland Under-21 international is pleased to have found his new home at Stadium MK.

Harvie became Russell Martin’s second signing of the summer last month when he made the decision to move south of the border and join the Dons, following his departure from Somerset Park.

“I was a little worried because my contract was up at Ayr but that's been eased now I know where I'm going to be,” he told iFollow MK Dons.

“It took a long time to get it done due to the circumstances but I'm over the moon that it's gone through and I'm here.”

He added: “When I heard MK Dons were interested, I spoke to the gaffer, who sold it to me straight away. The way that the manager wants to play, is the way I want to play and I know the Club wants to progress and grow, and I want to be a part of that.

“It's been a dream of mine to play in England so to come down here and play in front of big crowds and in stadiums like this is very exciting.”
