MK Dons Team Challenge - Team 4 come out on top in 5K Time Trial

Conor McGrandles records the best time but it's Team 4 who take all three points...

Team 4 came out on top in the first week of MK Dons' team running challenges...

Over the next few weeks, the MK Dons squad will be put to the test with a series of conditioning challenges. Teams will take part in running challenges which they will need to complete in as fast a time as possible.

Times will be added up between each team to give a total team time. The team with the fastest total time will win the weekly challenge and gain three points, with the team in second collecting two points and the team in third collecting one point.

This week’s challenge is a 5km time trial, which saw Team 4 come out on top with a total time of 02:19:23. In second was Team 3, who completed the challenge in 02:21:24 with Team 1 in third place courtesy of a total time of 02:22:43.

Conor McGrandles was the standout performer - he ran his 5km in just 18:01.
