Midfielder Jordan Houghton is raising money for the NHS and their associated charities.
Jordan, along with his wife Harley, have set up a Just Giving page for people to donate – with the money raised going to the Association of NHS Charities.
There are 250 NHS Charities in the UK providing funds and services above and beyond what the NHS alone can provide.
Over £1,000 has already been raised, following a £200 donation by Jordan and Harley.
Anyone who donates will be entered into a draw to win an MK Dons shirt signed by Jordan Houghton.
On their JustGiving page, Jordan and Harley wrote: “In this moment with everything that’s going on across the world we really want to try and support the heroes that are keeping this country going and helping to save lives on the front line.
“Our NHS are the pride of Britain and the very foundations of our defence against this Coronavirus pandemic. We want to help in the only way we know how by raising some money with the help our families, friends and followers.”
