Three MK Netters youth netballers were recently selected for trials with England Under-19s Rose squad, with one progressing through to join up with the Under-21s squad.
Megan Thorne, Jada Brathwaite-Scott and Holly James were all selected for England Roses Under-19s trials last month, with Megan getting taken through to the Under-21s squad.
The trio are in Super League franchises, putting Milton Keynes on the map for netball under the guidance of head coach Julie Tucker and the MK Dons coaching team.
Tucker, who is currently leading an Under-17s Super League hub for Wasps to ensure the local talent in Milton Keynes has access to the best coaching and competition level they need for their development, told mkdons.com: “I’m delighted that the area is now recognised for having national calibre talent with our youth.”
