Regan Poole is loving his time with MK Dons and hopes to make his first campaign with the Club a successful one.

Poole moved to Stadium MK this summer following his departure from Manchester United. The Wales Under-21 international has made six starts so far this term and has provided two assists.

Sitting down with Red Dot ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet League One clash with Ipswich Town, Poole reflected on his first few months with the Dons and also looked ahead to what he hopes to be a positive season at Stadium MK.

“I’m really enjoying my time here,” Poole said in an exclusive interview with Red Dot, which will be available to view in full on Saturday.

“Ever since I joined the Club, I’ve loved every minute. I think we have the ability in our side to make this a really positive season and that’s a reason I wanted to join. I knew where the Club wanted to go. I think I’ve had a good start here and hopefully I can kick on now.

“I’m enjoying working with Tis and all the staff around him. He was another huge reason why I joined the Football Club.

“I felt that Tis and all his staff around him could help me develop as a player and they’re doing that already. Again, I hope that shows with the way I’m playing – getting up and down the line and whipping balls in.”

He continued: “We’ve had an up and down season so far. A couple of results could have been a little better and we should be sitting here with a few more points.

“Against Ipswich here on Tuesday, I felt we deserved more and the same goes for when we played away at Wycombe.

“There a real positive signs that we can push on and have a good season. I’m sure, as soon as it clicks and we get a few good results on the bounce, we can really kick on and climb up the league.”
