Paul Tisdale provides an injury update...

12 September 2019

Paul Tisdale has revealed that Baily Cargill will be out for up to four weeks with an ankle injury but there is more positive news regarding fellow defender Callum Brittain, who should return for this weekend’s trip to Blackpool.

Speaking ahead of the Sky Bet League One clash with Blackpool on Thursday, Tisdale provided an injury update on the two players who missed the 2-1 victory over AFC Wimbledon last Saturday.

“Baily Cargill, who has missed out after injuring his ankle against Stevenage, will be out for two to four weeks,” Tisdale confirmed in his pre-match press conference ahead of this weekend's encounter at Bloomfield Road.

“Callum Brittain, who was unfit for the AFC Wimbledon game, will be back in the squad and, of course, Regan Poole is back from Wales.”

Tisdale also provided updates on three of his other sidelined players, including Jordan Moore-Taylor, who continues to make good progress in his recovery from a knee injury which has kept him out since January.

“Jordan is back on the training ground. He’s not in full training yet but we’re hoping within the next three or four weeks that he’ll be ready to play a reserve game.

"Ben Reeves is the same but Joe Mason not quite.”
