Having joined Crawley Green on a work experience loan, keeper George Rose made his debut for the Spartan South Midlands League club.
Rose was thrown into the starting line-up for their FA Vase clash against Winslow United and kept a clean sheet in a 4-0 cup win.
Charlie Pattison, meanwhile, was handed his first start for Kings Langley as they fell to a 2-0 defeat against Hednesford Town.
At Kempston Rovers, Finn Brennan played the full 90-minutes as they were beaten 3-1 by Yaxley, with former Dons Academy player Harry Stratton scoring for Kempston.
Finally, Laurie Walker and his Hampton and Richmond Borough side were defeated 3-1 by Slough.
Jay Bird and Jamal Sule were not in action for Hitchin and Kempston, respectively.
