Walsh: We’ll stick together

MK Dons Defender Joe Walsh believes the team spirit, togetherness, and quality in the dressing room will pull them through their tricky run of results.

The Dons are without a win in the last four Sky Bet League One outings, but Walsh feels there is enough quality in the group to turn things around.

“I think we’ve got a lot of players who can play a lot of different positions so we aren’t afraid to switch it up – we’ve just got to concentrate on the next game,” Walsh told the local media ahead of Saturday’s clash with Bristol Rovers.

“We’ve had spells before where we can’t get wins, we got through it though. I believe we can get through this, it’s just the way things go in football. We’ve come out of form for a bit - I believe we can get through this little patch and start picking up points.

“The main thing is to not get disheartened with the last few games. We’ve got to keep strong mentally, keep pushing in training and I think at the end of the day we’ll pick up the points.”
