MK Dons Sport and Education Trust (SET) has announced a new two-year partnership with Brioche Pasquier. The deal builds on the company’s long relationship with the MK Dons by supporting the club’s charity.

The package is one of several launched this year by Brioche Pasquier as part of a host of initiatives planned to encourage healthy engagement in a variety of sporting and educational activities within the community.

This partnership will support the work of the independent MK Dons SET which focuses on education, social inclusion and wellbeing and aims to deliver grassroots programmes to improve the lives and experiences of the local community.

“We are delighted to announce that we are to be the main sponsors of this fantastic charity for the next two years,” said Olivier Ripoche Managing Director of Brioche Pasquier UK.

“We admire and fully support the work of MK Dons SET which makes a real difference to so many local people regardless of age and ability. Sport, a healthy lifestyle and educational opportunities can transform lives and we are excited to be able to contribute to the success of this work.”

The sponsorship deal will feature PITCH, one of the company’s most popular products. These brioche rolls are laced with chocolate chips or filled with a smooth, dark chocolate centre and are perfect on the go or as a treat in children’s lunch boxes.

Brioche Pasquier will be involved with the local community, colleges and community groups. There will be sampling events at MK Dons home fixtures, and PITCH will also be the main sponsor for the annual MK Dons Legends match.

“We’ve been baking in Milton Keynes since 2014 and being involved in the health and wellbeing of our community is a priority for us.

"Each year we have a programme of support for sport and we also give over one million of our Brioche Pasquier products away as part of our sporting promotions,” says Mr Ripoche.

The new sponsorship deal is part of Brioche Pasquiers’ programme of support for local sporting charities and events. This year the company also sponsored the MK Marathon’s Superhero Family Fun Run, and is supporting Team Superschools, an initiative led by Jason Gardener (2004 Olympic Gold Medal Winner), aimed at encouraging primary school children to get active.

Maralyn Smith, CEO of MK Dons SET said: “Thank you to everyone at Brioche Pasquier for their invaluable support to MK Dons Sports and Education Trust charity over the next two years.

"Brioche Pasquier’s sponsorship and engagement with our projects, will help us deliver the best possible sports and education programmes to the adults and children we help through a wide range of activities.”

Andy Wooldridge, Commercial Manager at MK Dons, added: “We have been working with the team at Brioche Pasquier on the annual legends match for a couple of years now.

"As soon as we saw the enthusiasm that Brioche Pasquier have for supporting their local community, it became clear that they were the ideal partner to approach about becoming the first principal sponsor of MK Dons SET.

"What makes it all the more exciting, is that it’s yet another Milton Keynes based global brand that has chosen to work with us.”
