Jordan Moore-Taylor knows that in order for results to improve on the pitch, the MK Dons squad needs to remain united off it.
The Dons are without a win in their last seven Sky Bet League One outings and despite the recent form the Defender insists the squad remains together in their goals.
Tranmere Rovers are the visitors to Stadium MK this Saturday - a side that sits level on points with the Dons.
“We have to keep confidence in the dressing room,” Moore-Taylor told the local media ahead of Saturday’s clash with Tranmere. “We know we’re good enough, and know at some point it will turn. We can’t get too disheartened as it’s still early in the season – we know the results have to turn quickly though.”
“Results haven’t been good, we know that, we thought it might pick up after the draw with Coventry – but it hasn’t. We want to put things right as soon as possible – hopefully, that’s Saturday.
“I don’t think you can let results affect you mentally – we have to take each game in isolation. We don’t want to dwell on it too much because if you do – it knocks on to the next week – we are all aware the results aren’t good enough.”
Having missed the second half of last season promotion-winning campaign, Moore-Taylor is looking to make up for missed time now he’s back in the team.
“I'm just happy to be out there - it has been a long nine months. I missed the highs of last year which was hard to take - I'm happy to be out there playing again.”
