MK Dons have secured first place in Leasing.com Trophy Group G and will play a home tie in the Round of 32.
As a result of Fulham Under-21s’ 2-1 victory over Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday evening, Russell Martin’s Dons cannot be reached and will finish top of the group regardless of the result when they take on the Chairboys at Stadium MK next week.
The Round of 32 will be determined by means of a draw whereby the winner of a group will be drawn at home and will play a runner up of a group from the same region, but not from the same group.
Matches will be of ninety minutes duration, with no extra time. If the scores are level then the winners shall be determined by a penalty shoot-out.
