Russell Martin believes MK Dons will be boosted when they have a fully fit Ben Reeves and Joe Mason in their side.
Mason made his Dons debut in Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup tie with Port Vale, having missed the first three months of the campaign due to a hamstring problem sustained in training prior to the season opener.
Reeves, meanwhile, played his first 90 minutes since returning to the Club, four weeks after returning to action following a spell on the sidelines with a leg injury.
“It was massive,” Martin said when asked about having the pair on the pitch, completing their respective milestones.
“Joe has shown in training in the last week what he’s capable of. He can be a top, top player but he has missed a lot of football so it will take time before we can get him back to that.
“Reevesy will feel miles better for playing 90 minutes as well.
“They are two really good players at this level and to have them back will be really important.”
