Alex Gilbey has praised the impact Paul Tisdale and his coaching staff have had on MK Dons and feels the quartet are the perfect match for the Club.
Paul Tisdale, Matt Oakley, Mel Gwinnett and Danny Butterfield make up the First-Team Coaching contingent at Stadium MK and have made an impact on and off the pitch during their time with the Club.
Talking to mkdons.com following the conclusion of the season, Gilbey praised the work of all the staff and provided an insight into what life is like under Tis.
“Tis believes in everyone and is truthful with everyone as well,” Gilbey told iFollow MK Dons. “What you see is what you get with Tis. If you’ve had a bad game, he will tell you – that honesty is what people in football appreciate.”
“The lads love him and we’re all looking forward to the future with him.”
He added, “The coaching staff is perfect – all the lads get on with everyone – they’ve all been brilliant. They all work differently and that’s what makes it so perfect, the lads have appreciated their efforts all season and we’d like to say thank you to them – it’s been a really good year.”
