Brennan eager to get going

31 May 2019

After nine-months of hard work, the off-season is always a welcome sight for any footballer. Brennan Dickenson, however, is eager to get back in the building and get pre-season underway.

Dickenson signed for MK Dons following his departure from Colchester United, with the 26-year-old becoming Paul Tisdale’s second signing of the Summer Transfer Window.

With the start of pre-season still a few weeks away, Dickenson is already looking forward to his first day of training.

“I’m excited to get back in, meet the boys, and get pre-season underway,” the midfielder told iFollow MK Dons. “I’m very pleased to join such a great Club and I’m happy it’s done now so yeah time to push on.”

Brennan was part of the Colchester side that recorded the double over the Dons side last season, and the midfielder stated just how fond he was of Tisdale as a manager and his style of play.

“The boys look like they know what they are doing both in and out of possession – I’m just looking forward to getting in and getting to know them and how the manager works.

“It’s a great club and we’ve got a great team here, I’ve joined such a big club, with a great stadium. I’ve heard lots of good things about the manager and I know a few of the boys as well – everything just seems right.”

It’s fair to say Dickenson is excited for his next challenge, and the former Colchester man can’t wait to meek the MK Dons faithful for the first time.

“I’m very excited - I’m looking forward to meeting the fans and getting the underway - it’s going to be a good season.”
