Stephen Walker has been named in the England Under-19s squad for their upcoming UEFA European U19 Championship Elite Round fixtures.
The on-loan striker will join up with his international teammates this Sunday ahead of the first of three Group 2 matches the following Wednesday (20 March) against the Czech Republic.
Walker & England then face Greece on Saturday 23 March before taking on Denmark on Tuesday 26 March.
All three games will take place at St. Georges Park and kick off at 2pm.
The Young Lions will be looking to qualify for the UEFA European U19 Championship Finals, which will be held this July in Armenia. England need to top Group 2 in order to reach this summer’s tournament.
As a result of this call-up, Walker will be unavailable for MK Dons’ Sky Bet League Two fixture with Yeovil Town at Stadium MK. The Middlesbrough loanee is expected to return in time for the trip to Forest Green Rovers on 30 March.
