Manager
A recognisable figure, Sol Campbell is the man in charge at the Moss Rose having taken the reins in November 2018.

The 44-year-old enjoyed an illustrious playing career, totalling over 500 league appearances for the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal while earning over 70 caps for England. During his playing days, he won the Premier League twice, and collected three FA Cup winners’ medals.

This is Campbell's first job in management and he has made an early impact, with Macclesfield seeing an upturn in form since his arrival, giving them a chance of retaining their EFL status.

One to watch
Scott Wilson is the Silkmen’s leading goalscorer and is man enjoying a rich vein of form in front of goal.

The 26-year-old, playing his first season in the EFL, has hit 10 goals this campaign, with nine of those coming in his last 14 appearances.

Connections
Mitch Hancox is the only player in the current squads who has a connection to both clubs. The defender played 80 times for the Silkmen and helped them achieve promotion to the EFL last season.
