Also in action were Maidenhead United and Sam Nombe – a 95th-minute Alfie Kilgour goal ensured they picked up a point against Dagenham and Redbridge.
Jay Bird featured for half-an-hour as Hitchin overcame Tamworth 1-0, a result that lifts The Canaries to 16th in the table.
Finally, Charlie Pattison and Welwyn Garden City were beaten 1-0 against AFC Dunstable.
