Midfielder ready to be versatile...

20 March 2019

Jordan Houghton has been asked to display his versatility on a number of occasions this season and the midfielder is more than happy to continue doing so.

Houghton, in his first season with MK Dons following a move from Chelsea in the summer, has mostly featured in the centre of midfield but has been forced to play in defence more than once - including during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Stevenage following an injury to Baily Cargill.

“It’s not been settled for me but that’s part of the game,” the 23-year-old said in his post-match press conference with the media last Saturday.

“Tis always talks about having players that are versatile and that he likes having players that can play different positions.

To be honest, I don’t mind where I play as long as I’m on the pitch and I hope I can do a job wherever Tis wants to put me.”
