Paul Tisdale insists MK Dons won’t get carried away despite climbing back into the automatic promotion places in Sky Bet League Two.
Goals from Ryan Harley and Chuks Aneke, as well as a 16th clean sheet of the campaign, earned the Dons a 2-0 victory over Yeovil Town on Saturday - a victory which saw them move above Mansfield Town and into third in the table.
Tisdale’s side are now three points clear of the Stags and just two points adrift of second-placed Bury but, with seven games still to play, the boss and his team are remaining grounded.
He told the media: “I made the point last week when we were a little disappointed with the point [against Stevenage] that there will be games between now and the end of the season where we think we've blown it and we haven’t, and then there will be games when we’ve won and we think we've done it and it's all rosy, and we haven’t.
“We're looking at other results, we're aware of the league table but we're not getting too carried away with a win when there's 21 points at stake.”
