MK Dons SET are pleased to invite you to a FREE Walk for Peace charity family event - taking place on Sunday 30th June 2019.
The SET are raising funds for various charities in the UK, including the MK Dons disability football, by attending you will help raise a huge amount of awareness. You can choose from either a 2 or 4.5-mile walk - both are disable-friendly.
Itinerary
Sunday, 30th June 2019
The walk starts at Stadium MK (Gate 3) and ends at Caldecott Lake
8am - Registration, welcome, light breakfast, teas/coffees
10.30am - Opening Session (Mayor, MP's short welcome)
11am - Start of Walk
Do I have to pay any money to participate?
No! The event is absolutely FREE to attend. We will be serving fruit and water on both routes. When you finish the walk we will award you with a medal and serve you with a hot biryani and cold drink.
Who is invited?
We want as many people to attend as possible, along with your family members and/or colleagues. We would request you to register so that it helps us to manage the event and organise the catering. Dogs are welcome, but we humbly request that they remain on leash at all times please. Water bowls will be provided for them.
What activities will be there on the day?
- Charity exhibition stands at Caldecotte Lake
- Beat-the-goalie
- Bouncy castles
- Ice cream vans
- & other fun events for the entire family
Do I have to contribute towards the charity collections?
Every single penny we collect is very welcome and helps those in need.
Do I have to walk the route?
We have organised two routes, however, to participate and enjoy the various activities you do not have to walk the route. Just join us at Stadium MK and we can transport you directly to the finish line.
