Mason: Positive performances come from a happy mind

6 June 2019

Joe Mason joined MK Dons on a permanent basis earlier this week, and the former Wolves forward believes having a permanent home will bring the best out of his him.

Mason has enjoyed three loans spells away from Wolverhampton Wanderers, and feels the MK Dons fans will see him at his best now he has a full-time home.

Joining on a permanent basis ensures the 28-year-old can move to the city of Milton Keynes, find his partner a job in the surrounding area and clear his mind off the pitch.

“It’s important for me to be settled off the pitch,” Mason told iFollow MK Dons.

“I feel I perform at my best when I’m happy off the pitch – I’m at my best when I’m not moving about.

“I think once I get myself settled – I’ll be able to show what I’m all about.”

Mason added, “I feel very lucky to play for this Club to be honest, the facilities are so impressive. I’m really looking forward to the first day of the season and showing what I’m all about.”
