Pete Winkelman has thanked the MK Dons fans for their continued support of both the Football Club and himself personally.
Despite watching on as the Dons suffered two relegations in three seasons, the MK Dons faithful remained behind their team in 2018/19 and played their part in securing promotion back to Sky Bet League One at the first time of asking.
“I’m so pleased for the supporters because this has not been a journey I wanted to take them on,” Winkelman said in his exclusive interview with iFollow MK Dons. “People of Milton Keynes want success and we haven’t shown them that.
“I am so grateful to our loyal supporters who have stayed with us through thick and thin and they have shown they will stick with us through thick and thin.
“Personally, I am hugely grateful for that because I needed them too!”
