It’s safe to say that Rhys Healey is delighted to return to MK Dons on a permanent basis, with the striker noting that it was an easy decision for him to make to re-join the Club.
Speaking after the 2-1 defeat against Northampton Town last Friday, the 24-year-old said that it was a move that was on his radar long before it happened and expressed his delight after being reunited with manager Paul Tisdale.
“The fans and the coaching staff had a big say in my coming back here,” Healey told the local media at the PTS Academy Stadium. “I think Tis is the one to get me going and get the best out of me. Added to that, the direction the team want to go in – it was hard to say no.
“I’ve had my eye on this move for a few months. Everyone around the stadium, the staff around the place and the people that work for the Club are a lot happier.
“I think we have to build upon that and kick on even more - which we are capable of with the squad that is here."
