MK Dons officially started their pre-season friendlies on Tuesday night as they overcame Brackley Town 5-1.
Stuart Moore, who played the opening 45-minutes insists the Dons can learn from every pre-season game, no matter what the result.
Goals from Jordan Houghton, Callum Brittain, Kieran Agard, Dylan Asongnayi and Sam Nombe saw Paul Tisdale’s side run out winners against their Northamptonshire counterparts.
“Regardless of the results in pre-season, we need to make sure we are learning, so come the start of the season, we can go put in a solid performance.
“Everyone is raring to go - we all want the season to start now. We’ve got to make sure we make the most of every day we’ve got to try and better ourselves as a team.
“It’s brilliant to play in front of fans, you want to be playing in front of a crowd. It’ll be brilliant to play in front of the fans again and get an atmosphere going.”
Moore added, “Last season, when we got the place going it was unbelievable and it really helped the lads. Fingers crossed we get a few down to the friendlies and come the start of the season they’ll start filling out the season again.”
