January Transfer Window round-up - two in, two out on Deadline Day

Paul Tisdale makes four additions...

31 January 2019

The January Transfer Window is over with Deadline Day seeing two new players arrive at Stadium MK and two depart.

Midfielder Jake Hesketh and striker Stephen Walker have joined MK Dons on loan until the end of the season, taking Paul Tisdale’s total number of incomings this month to four following the arrivals of defender Russell Martin and winger David Wheeler earlier in January.

Deadline Day also saw midfielder Peter Pawlett and striker Osman Sow move to Dundee United for undisclosed fees. Both players link up with former MK Dons manager Robbie Neilson.

Earlier in the month, the Dons parted ways with winger Aidan Nesbitt and goalkeeper Wieger Sietsma while on-loan striker Rhys Healey returned to parent club Cardiff City, where he will remain for the rest of the campaign.

MK Dons also allowed several of their young players to head out on loan. Sam Nombe (Maidstone United), Oran Jackson (Brackley Town), Brandon Thomas-Asante (Oxford City), Liam Sole (St. Albans City), and Charlie Pattison (Welwyn Garden City) will all gain first-team experience at their respective clubs for the remainder of term.
