St Albans City FC booked their place in the Herts Senior Cup Final last Wednesday evening, with MK Dons loanee Liam Sole impressing off the bench.
The winger replaced Khale Da Costa with 12-minutes of normal time remaining and made an immediate impact.
In the dying seconds of normal time, Sole beat his man before crossing towards Zane Banton – his effort was saved well by the Watford keeper.
Six minutes into extra-time, Sole won his side a penalty after being fouled inside the box by Leighton.
Zane Banton, however, missed the spot kick.
With no further goals, the tie went to penalties, with the Saints winning 3-2 to reach the Herts Senior Cup final.
