This week Jay Bird joined Hitchin Town FC on a Work Experience loan before making his debut for the Club on Wednesday night.
The Canaries currently ply their trade in the Evostik Southern Premier Division Central - where they sit 16th in the table.
Bird was thrown straight into the squad for Hitchin's Vince Paige Memorial Trophy clash with Letchworth GC Eagles.
Hitchin secured the Trophy with a 3-0 win, thanks to a Harry Draper hat-trick.
Elsewhere, Liam Sole was handed a start for St Albans City and picked up his second assist in as many games after he won a penalty 66-minutes into the win over Stotfold.
Finally, Charlie Pattison and his Welwyn Garden City side were defeated 5-2 by Corby Town.
