MK Dons Ladies bowed out of the SSE Women’s FA Cup at the Fourth Round stage after defeat to Liverpool at Prenton Park.
The Ladies, playing in their first-ever Fourth Round tie, can take a lot of pride from their performance in Merseyside but, in the end, were undone by a quality Liverpool outfit in Merseyside.
Goalscorers for the Women’s Super League side were Laura Coombs, Courtney Sweetman-Kirk, Leandra Little, Ashley Hodson and Jemma Purfield, who netted twice.
Attention for the Ladies now turns to Wednesday’s FA Women’s National League South East Premier Division clash with Oxford United at Stadium MK. Entry is priced at £5 adults, £3 concessions and FREE for under-16s.
