Transfer window remains open for League One and Two clubs...

Paul Tisdale hasn’t ruled out the possibility of adding to the squad this month and believes MK Dons are an attractive proposition for those players available for loan, following the closure of the transfer window Premier League and Sky Bet Championship clubs.

The top two tiers of English football have concluded their transfer activity until January but sides in Sky Bet League One and Two are still able to sign players until 2nd September.

“When the window closes for the top end of the pyramid, there's a bonus for teams in League One and League Two,” Tisdale said in his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet League One opener with Shrewsbury Town.

“We now have a new market of players to look at. We haven't been too rushed over the last week or two because we feel we've recruited most of our squad, if not all of it, but there may be a bonus to come out of the situation.

“We're not desperate so now it's down to someone that maybe takes our fancy and fits the bill. We're looking forward to being in that position, and we're in good position to attract a few players. We are an attractive location for loan players.”
