5 August 2019

It’s the beginning of a new week at Stadium MK and the beginning of a new season for both the First-Team and the Under-18s...

- MK Dons kick-off their 2019/20 Sky Bet League One campaign at home to Shrewsbury Town on Saturday. Paul Tisdale’s men were due to start their season last weekend away at Bury but the EFL took the decision to suspend the fixture due to the Shaker’s off-the-field issues. Therefore, this weekend’s match at Stadium MK will be the Dons’ first of the new term and their first back in the third tier. Tickets are on sale now both online and the Box Office, while supporters who can’t make the game can stay-up-to-date on mkdons.com.

- Prior to Saturday’s curtain-raiser, supporters will be able to enjoy activities and food/drink at the Club’s The Big Kick Off event. From 12.30pm, fans are invited into the Marshall Arena to soak up the atmosphere prior to the match - there is plenty for the children and some tasty food and beverage options for all. - MK Dons Under-18s start their EFL Youth Alliance South East campaign with a trip to Leyton Orient on Saturday morning. It will be Academy Manager Jon Goodman’s first match in charge of the Young Dons and he will be assisted by the Club’s leading goalscorer Izale McLeod. A report and highlights from the game will be available to view on mkdons.com early next week.

- Paul Tisdale will hold his first pre-match press conference of the season this Thursday afternoon. Tis will likely reflect on pre-season and preview Saturday’s test against Shrewsbury Town, while providing an update on the fitness of the likes of Alex Gilbey and Rhys Healey.
