Hiram Boateng is just three games into his MK Dons career, but insists he’s ‘loving’ his time with Paul Tisdale at Stadium MK.

Boateng had worked with Tisdale during the duos time at Exeter City, before being reunited earlier this Summer.

His performances have caught the eye of the Dons faithful, with the 23-year-old already making himself a fan favourite at MK1.

“I’m loving my time at the moment,” Boateng told iFollow MK Dons following Tuesday’s victory over Lincoln City. “A big thing for me is I have freedom to play and get into the positions where I work well. I’m enjoying it and I hope it carries on that way.”

Reflecting on Tuesday’s success, Boateng praised the team’s performance and highlighted how everyone will be needed across to course of the season.

“Everyone played their part and showed how important they are to the side. We had a lot of blocks and a lot of bodies thrown on the line - if we can continue to do that – we’ll have a good chance.

“The manager has emphasised he wants everyone to play 90-minutes when selected. I think keeping ourselves fit and conditioned and having everyone up to speed is going to be important because the more able bodies we have going through the season – the easier it’ll be for us.”

On Tuesday night, both Paul Tisdale and George Williams praised the Dons fans for their continued support throughout the win. Boateng followed suit and took the time to thank the fans for their support.

“The fans were brilliant, we needed that extra push to keep us in front and it helped having them. They never go unnoticed – we’re grateful for them.”
