Paul Tisdale and George Williams both paid tribute to the MK Dons supporters for their role in Tuesday’s 2-1 victory over Lincoln City.
Despite a nervy end to the Stadium MK clash with the Imps, the home crowd stuck with Tisdale’s men and were non-stop in their vocal support of the team for the final 10 minutes.
“The fans were brilliant for the last 10 minutes,” Tisdale told the media after Tuesday’s win at Stadium MK.
“I've not had that level of support here yet, so thanks to them. The players all mentioned it at full time, so thank you very much.”
George Williams, scorer of the decisive second goal, added: “The fans were brilliant. They showed up on a Tuesday night and we are really thankful for that.
“The last 10 minutes, they were signing non-stop and that does give you that drive to want to keep going.”

MK Dons will go in search of their third successive home victory when they take on Peterborough United at Stadium MK on Saturday.
