Fans integral to Reeves' move

5 August 2019

Ben Reeves admits that the support of the MK Dons fans was integral in his move back to Stadium MK.

Reeves was a fan favourite during his first spell with the Club, and after becoming a free agent earlier in the Summer, the Dons faithful petitioned for his return to Stadium MK.

The 27-year-old admits that one of the main factors in his return to the Club, was the backing he received from the supporters.

“The fans made it so easy for me to return,” Reeves told iFollow MK Dons on his first interview since re-joining.

“I don't read many messages on social media, but when I have, it gives me a good feeling from the fans. To get those messages and to be wanted back at a club, it's so important and it has made me so happy to be here.

“I was desperate to be playing on Saturday, whoever it was for. That's why I was training so hard, even when the rest of the players were off. But there's no better way to return than to do it at home.”
