Jordan Bowery believes the sky is the limit for this MK Dons side this season.
Paul Tisdale’s men were due to start their campaign this weekend against Bury but the EFL took the decision to suspend the fixture, meaning the clash with Shrewsbury Town at Stadium MK on August 10th will be the Dons’ curtain-raiser.
Bowery, a summer signing from Crewe Alexandra, can’t wait to get going and hopes the upcoming campaign can prove to be a positive one for the Football Club.
“The sky is the limit,” Bowery said in an interview with the local media after the pre-season friendly with St. Neots Town. “We can do as well as we want.
“We have to push hard like we have all pre-season, keep grafting and then make sure we can bring home three points when we can.”
On a personal note, Bowery says he’s feeling fit and ready for competitive match action.
“[Pre-season] has gone well,” he commented. “I'm match fit now, I've got to know the lads and I know how they play - I think I've done well.
“I've not got the goals I would have wanted but hopefully I'm saving them for the season!"

MK Dons kick-off their 2019/20 season this coming Saturday afternoon against Shrewsbury Town at Stadium MK.
To celebrate the occasion, MK Dons, in association with Circus Magazine, will be hosting a Big Kick Off event prior to the match. This will include live music, food stalls and activities for children outside Stadium MK in the build-up to the clash with the Shrews.
Tickets for the match, and the 2019/20 season, are priced at £22 adults, £17 seniors and £7 under-18s while under-12s go FREE with an accompanying adult.
Club Dons members are entitled to £5 discount on the matchday price for 10 EFL games while Young Dons members can take advantage of a £1 discount on prices.
