Tisdale shortlisted for the fourth time this term...

9 April 2019

Paul Tisdale has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month Award for March.

The MK Dons boss led his side to four wins and a draw from their six games last month, putting them in a strong position to secure a top-three finish come the end of the season.

Tisdale’s men won their first two matches of the month, beating Crawley Town 1-0 at Stadium MK before picking up three points on the road at Macclesfield Town.

A 4-2 defeat to Morecambe was quickly followed up a hard-earned point at home to Stevenage and then back-to-back successes over Yeovil Town and, more impressively of all, Forest Green Rovers.

Tisdale has been shortlisted for the award alongside John Askey (Port Vale), Danny Cowley (Lincoln City) and Micky Mellon (Tranmere Rovers.

The winner will be announced on Friday 12 April. The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ EFL League expert Don Goodman; EFL Senior Media Manager Rob Meaden, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Ivor Davies.

This is Tisdale’s fourth nomination of the campaign, having been shortlisted for the award in August, October and November before now. He won the award in October.
