Chuks Aneke’s solo goal against Notts County has been voted MK Dons’ MKFM Goal of the Month for April - his second successive Goal of the Month honour.
Aneke latched onto a header from Kieran Agard inside his own half before bursting past the final County defender and cooly firing a right-footed shot past the goalkeeper and into the top right-hand corner to double MK Dons’ lead at Meadow Lane.
The striker, who has won the award in back-to-back months, collected a whopping 80% of the vote ahead of Kieran Agard’s header at Tranmere Rovers and David Wheeler’s two finishes against Notts County and Port Vale.
Aneke will be presented with his award ahead of Saturday’s Winner Takes All clash with Mansfield Town at Stadium MK when the Royal Cabs Player of the Month for April will be announced.
