The Carabao Cup Round Three tie between Tottenham Hotspur and Watford will take place at Stadium MK on Wednesday 26th September.
With both their new stadium and Wembley being unavailable during this week, Spurs applied to the EFL board for special dispensation to play this tie at Stadium MK. Their request was approved at the EFL’s board meeting on Thursday.
Chairman Pete Winkelman said: “We are pleased that Tottenham Hotspur have chosen Stadium MK as the venue for their Carabao Cup tie with Watford.
“We are proud to host the fixture and will work closely with Spurs, the EFL and Watford to ensure that everyone enjoys their visit to Milton Keynes.”
The tie will be classed as a Tottenham Hotspur home fixture and therefore all ticketing will be managed by Spurs. No tickets will be sold by MK Dons. Do not call the Box Office for ticket information.
