MK Dons Under-23s start their Central Development League South campaign this afternoon as they face AFC Wimbledon Under-23s away from home.
Edu Rubio’s side are yet to have played a competitive game this season, with their last outing a 3-0 win over Newport Pagnell Town during pre-season – a win for MK Dons would mark the perfect start to their season. Kick-off today is 2pm.
Like Rubio’s squad, AFC Wimbledon will also be getting their league campaign underway on Tuesday afternoon and are currently managed by former professional defender Alan Reeves.
Rubio’s team is set to include a mixture of first-team players and Under-18s with the likes of Sam Nombe and Brandon Thomas-Asante both eager for minutes after their recent injuries.
Elsewhere, Finn Tapp and Oran Jackson both impressed against Peterborough United and will be hoping for another chance to do so against AFC Wimbledon, while David Kasumu and Liam Sole will also be looking to showcase their talents.
Fresh off his professional debut against the Posh, Charlie Pattison will be looking to continue his development.
Supporters wishing to follow the action live can do so via the Club’s Match Centre while goal updates will also be posted on the Club’s Twitter page throughout the game.
