Arena MK has announced a new partnership with Marshall Amplification, to create a new home for exceptional live music and events - the Marshall Arena.
Built in 2014, the newly named Marshall Arena has a 4,000 capacity and is already becoming the new home of music in Milton Keynes with Black Eyed Peas performing part of their Masters of The Sun Tour on the 3 November.
Further headline announcements for the venue are due to follow.
Marshall Arena is set next to the 30,000 seater StadiumMK which was opened in 2007. Recent announcements for the stadium include major acts such as legendary performer, Rod Stewart and Take That celebrate their 30th anniversary with Rick Astley as a support act.
Chairman Pete Winkelman said: “Marshall Amplification holds a special place in our local history as innovators before the time of Milton Keynes.
“It was a proud moment for us when Marshall donned the MK Dons shirts and it is fantastic that, under the stewardship of Jon Ellery, Marshall can once again engage with Milton Keynes by taking over the name of Arena MK, which will enable them to bring their musical heritage to the community.”
Jon Ellery, Managing Director of Marshall Amplification, said: “Marshall is a home for music lovers- whether you’re a pro player or a casual consumer the brand is there with you.
“Working with ArenaMK to become Marshall Arena is an obvious choice as it solidifies our strong roots within the music industry.”
