Jordan Houghton is confident MK Dons can bounce back this Saturday against Lincoln City and improve on last weekend’s performance at Stadium MK.
MK Dons were far from their fluent best in the 1-1 draw with Forest Green Rovers but they were able to maintain their unbeaten start to the 2018/19 Sky Bet League Two season - a run which now sits at seven games.
Houghton believes the momentum gained from their unbeaten stretch will help them as they prepare to face the league leaders, Lincoln City, this weekend at Sincil Bank.
“Given that we didn’t play anywhere near our levels, we should look on it as a decent point,” Houghton said after Saturday’s draw with Forest Green Rovers. “At the end of the season, you don’t look at performances you look at the points.
“We’ve got to up our game, though and we’ll be looking to get back to how we should be playing at Lincoln on Saturday.
“It’s going to be a different type of game - we’ll be going there expecting a battle - but we’re going there unbeaten with a lot to build on. Hopefully we can go there and get a win."

Tickets for Saturday's clash with Lincoln City, which MUST be bought from MK Dons in advance of the game, are priced at £22 adults, £17 concessions and young adults and £9 under-18s.
Travel is available at a rate of £18 for Season Ticket holders and £19 for all other supporters. Coaches will depart from Stadium MK at 11am.
