Midfielder Ousseynou Cisse has been named MK Dons’ Player of the Month for August by the supporters.
Cisse made a strong start to the 2018/19 season, impressing in his XX appearances during the opening month of the campaign and establishing himself as a fans favourite.
The Malian’s highlight in August was his last-minute winner in the 1-0 victory over Bury - with seconds remaining in MK Dons’ home opener, Cisse slid in to convert from George Williams’ cross to secure all three points for his side.
Cisse, who was presented with the award by fan Murphy McClatchey prior to the Sky Bet League Two clash with Forest Green Rovers, came first in the poll with 33% of the votes. He was followed by Jordan Moore-Taylor and Jordan Houghton, who finished second and third in the voting respectively.
