Back-to-back victories, in-form strikers and Stadium MK success among the topics heading into the weekend...

mkdons.com details the storylines to follow heading into this weekend's Sky Bet League Two fixture with Cheltenham Town...

Back-to-back
After returning to winning ways in MK Dons, focus for Paul Tisdale and his men will now turn to securing successive victories.

Tisdale’s side began the 2018/19 season with back-to-back league triumphs but haven’t managed to repeat that feat since.

Doing so this weekend would provide them with the perfect start to a crucial October and could see them climb as high as fourth in the Sky Bet League Two table.

In-form forwards
MK Dons’ strikers are in red-hot form and Tisdale will be hoping they can maintain that form on Saturday.

All nine of the Dons’ goals in the last six games have come courtesy of forwards Chuks Aneke, Kieran Agard and Rhys Healey who have, so far, combined to tally 11 finishes in all competitions.

Aneke leads the way with five goals in five appearances, while Agard has four to his name including two in each of his last two starts. Loanee Rhys Healey has found the net twice despite only starting four matches.

Stadium MK success
MK Dons remain unbeaten at Stadium MK this season - one of only two sides in the division to boast such a stat.

Boss Tisdale spoke at the start of the season about the importance of establishing Stadium MK as a fortress, which is something his team are certainly on their way to doing.

Their resilience, though, may be put to the test this weekend against a Cheltenham Town outfit who boast a decent record on the road this season - the Robins have picked up seven points from their five matches away from Whaddon Road.

Any returnees?
Paul Tisdale mentioned in a recent press conference that Ryan Harley, Mathieu Baudry and Lawson D’Ath were back on the training pitch and while the pair will need time to build up their fitness levels before being considered for match action, they can’t be too far away.

The manager will meet the media on Thursday afternoon where is expected to provide an injury update on the duo as well as the other Dons who are currently sidelined.
