Having returned to Marsh Lane until January 1st, striker Sam Nombe was thrown straight into the Starting XI for City’s clash with Chippenham Town.
The 20-year-old, who scored six goals in nine games for The Nomads last year, started up front alongside former Dons academy graduate Kabongo Tshimanga.
Nombe almost opened the scoring 35 minutes into the clash but was denied after House got down well to deny the striker.
It was Chippenham who took the lead when Nat Jarvis tapped home from 6-yards out, just two minutes after the restart.
Frankie Musonda levelled the scoring for Oxford City with 15-minutes left in the clash ensuring the points were shared between the two sides.
Oxford City and Nombe are back in action against Hampton and Richmond Borough this Saturday.
