Who caught your eye the most during the month of October? Now is the time to cast your vote with the possibility of winning two hospitality tickets for doing so.
October was certainly a month to remember for MK Dons with Paul Tisdale’s going unbeaten over the course of six games - winning five and drawing just one.
The month started with Tuesday night trip to Port Vale, first-half goals from Chuks Aneke and Kieran Agard gave the Dons a 2-0 win.
Cheltenham Town were in the visitors to Stadium MK the following Saturday, Aneke’s first-half goal put the men from MK1 on course to a 3-0 win with Rhys Healey and Robbie Simpson netting late on.
The Dons recorded their third successive clean sheet and picked up another three points when they visited Cambridge United midway through the month – Aneke scoring the only goal of the afternoon.
Agard’s first-half goal against Northampton Town was enough to see off local rivals Northampton Town – with Tisdale’s men recording yet another shutout.
The run of clean sheets came to an end when Notts County’s Lewis Alessandra found a way past Lee Nicholls. The Dons showed character and determination to fight back from a goal down with Aneke and Healey completing the turnaround at Stadium MK.
After five successive wins in the month of October, the Dons made the journey to Mansfield Town where Jacob Mellis gave The Stags an early lead. Once again though, Tisdale’s outfit showed their steal with Jordan Houghton’s stunning goal earning a point at the One Call Stadium.
